Become An Instant Travel Blogger With These Five Awesome Platforms
Thanks to technology, people have been travelling more often these days. Going from one place to another has never been easier with all the travel apps available out there. But along with that, there’s also another thing that has been going on lately and that is…travel blogging.
Almost everyone who travels keeps a travel blog. You don’t need to be the most tech-savvy person to have one because there are so many travel platforms that allow you to setup your own blog with just a few clicks here and there. In fact, here are some of the platforms that you might want to start with if you want to have your own travel blog.
1.Track That Travel
This travel blogging platform just launched in 2017 and it’s a free global platform that allows users to connect and share their stories with one another. You’ll be able to create your own profile, connect your social media accounts, and have your own analytics dashboard to track statistics.
Track That Travel also has a rewards system that allows users to earn as much as $100/blog. Rewards are based on a blog’s performance and payment is sent directly through a user’s PayPal account. Overall, this platform is perfect for people who’d want to do some casual blogging while making money online. At the same time, this is also a good place to build your own brand and establish a career being a travel blogger.
Next up is the Poland-based travel blogging platform called Photler. This website launched in 2017 and it’s a drag-and-drop website builder that has its sight set at the photography community. The features of this platform allow travel photographers or photographers in general to vividly showcase their work.
The platform allows users to have a free trial for all their three plans but prices start at $2.99 after 7 days. If you are subscribed to the platform, you’ll be able to customize your domain, purchase website templates, track your statistics, and get access to other features. Anyone can use it but it’s highly recommended for people who do blogging as a living.
Atameo is more like a travel social media platform rather than a blogging platform. Stories are displayed on the homepage and visitors can click them so that they can see more details on a user’s profile.
For example, if you’re going on a European trip, you can update your trips on your profile using a desktop or their mobile app. You can connect the destinations that you’ve visited along the way such as airports, restaurants, shops, and more. At the same time, you can add descriptions, music, and videos along with it.
It is free but it doesn’t offer monetizing opportunities for users and it doesn’t have an analytics dashboard.
- IQ Planner
IQ Planner is literally a planner for travellers but it allows you to create blogs to go along with your plans. It works like Atameo where you can create trips and include specific details such as hotels and shops that you’ve visited. However, it doesn’t allow you to upload videos and music.
But this travel blogging platform does have an affiliate program for users because it also works as a booking site. For example, when a user creates a trip, it would be indexed in the site’s system and visitors are able to view and book through them. The user who created the trip will be able to earn as much as 70% commission.
Travelbook is also a booking site that allows its users to post pictures and videos of their travels. However, the only catch is that you’re not able to blog about your travels. It’s just an online gallery of your travels.
It’s still in beta stage so there’s still some room for improvement but the good thing about it is that it’s free and user-friendly.
For all those avid travellers out there, check out these sites and experience the fun of travel blogging. It doesn’t matter if you do it professionally or not because it’s just good to keep track of your adventures and be able to share them with the rest of the world.http://www.elitetravelblog.com/become-instant-travel-blogger-five-awesome-platforms/https://i0.wp.com/www.elitetravelblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Blogging.jpeg?fit=1024%2C682https://i0.wp.com/www.elitetravelblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Blogging.jpeg?resize=150%2C150Travel TipsThanks to technology, people have been travelling more often these days.
