One of the best advantages of being wealthy is the fact that you can put up in  the most luxurious hotels in the world. But lets be honest – to afford an accommodation in such an expensive hotel room, being rich is really not enough. You have to be really rich. How much can you pay for a hotel room? A hundred dollars? A thousand? Let us take you on a trip around the most expensive hotels in the world.

The Presidential apartment, InterContinental Hotel, Hong KongThe Presidential apartment, InterContinental Hotel, Hong Kong

This is the first luxurious hotel room in our list. Can you at least try to guess how much costs one night in this hotel room? Over 13,000US dollars! This undoubtedly is the best hotel apartment in the Chinese city. If you can afford to spend a night in this fantastic room, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a nice (and really expensive) drink on the 232 square meters terrace; swim in your private pool on the top of roof and relax in the jacuzzi, while watching the magnificent, urban view of Hong Kong and Victoria harbour right from your window.

Sultan’s apartment, Çırağan Palace, Kempinski, Istanbul

This hotel is a personification of luxury, unsurpassed beauty and glory. In fact it is restoration of a breathtaking castle from the 16th century, home of the last Ottoman sultans. Since 1800 (when the castle was restored) it has been turned into a 5-star hotel and attracts plenty of rich people and celebrities. It is one of the most luxurious hotel apartments in the world and cost over 15,000US dollars per night.

Ritz-Carlton Hotel, MoscowRitz-Carlton Hotel, Moscow

18, 200US dollars – this is the amount of money that you will need if you want to spend one night in this hotel.  This fabulous hotel can offer you a room of over 200 square meters. Nursed in luxury, this apartment has floor heating (which is a great advantage if you have planned to visit Russia, since the temperatures there, during the winter can be really unbearable) and the view which will burst upon you from the enormous windows is magnificent. The apartment has a private piano and a library.

Hugh Hefner Sky Villa (Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas)Hugh Hefner Sky Villa (Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas)

Well, you may not get the famous playmates of Hugh Hefner, but for the modest amount of 40,000US dollars, you will get whatever else you can think of – 3 bedrooms (in which one of the beds is rotating); a really huge living room; fitness; a sauna and a lot of other SPA rooms. The apartment is very suitable for parties, since it can accommodate up to 250 people. In 2007, right after the annual MTV awards, Kanye West made a huge party. Well, what else can we say, except – well done, Hugh!

Royal Penthouse Suite, (President Wilson Hotel, Geneva)

This is our last suggestion and, as you have probably supposed, the most expensive one. This apartment is considered to be one of the most guarded hotels in the world. It has 4 bedrooms, 6 toilets and a few private elevators. The room offers a significant view and plenty of other modern conveniences. As for the price – only 53,000US dollars for a night.

Have these luxury rooms given you ideas for your own bedroom? You can always add little touches to make a room feel more luxurious, such as adding framed paintings to bedroom curtain ideas.
