Why do you love travel?
There is a pretty long story behind this question which you can read about on a post called A Story of Life, Death, Tattoos & Travel.
A shorter answer would be that it’s in my blood. My Dad loved to explore and so we traveled as a family from the time I was born. As I grew up that wanderlust also grew and I have always made travel a priority, choosing to spend every spare penny on experiences rather than material things. Aside from being fun, I really feel that travel is one of the most beneficial things you can do in your life. It can open your mind, your eyes and your heart which helps you grow as a person. It also helps to make the world a better place as learning about other cultures and traditions helps to fight prejudice and misunderstandings.
What destination is top of your bucket list?
As with most avid travelers I want to see the whole world but my top three right now would be an African Safari, Machu Picchu and the Galapagos.
Where is your most favourite place you have travelled to?
Where is your most favourite place you have travelled to?
An impossible question as I like every place I’ve traveled to for different reasons. So I’m going to cheat and say Europe since that covers a lot of ground. I love traveling in Europe because there is so much diversity in a relatively small area. You can travel for just a couple of hours and hear a different language, experience a completely different culture and eat vastly different food. It really is the only continent in the world that offers so much variation. Having said that I did notice the last time I went that those differences are becoming less extreme, probably due to the EU and open borders of the Schengen.
What is your most favourite memory or experience whilst travelling?
What is your most favourite memory or experience whilst travelling?
Another tough one as there have been so many. If I had to narrow it down it would be a tie between a hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia, Turkey and exploring the caves and natural pools of Semuc Champey, Guatemala. The reason they would top the list is that they were both such unique experiences that would be tough to find anywhere else in the world.

What is your favourite photo from your travels?
One of my favorites would be this photo of our hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia, Turkey. Floating above the surreal landscape in a hot air balloon at sunrise made for some incredible photos and amazing memories.
