Immersive Gamebox Review: Be A Ghostbuster

What is Immersive Gamebox?

Immersive Gamebox involves playing a game on 3 sides of a room using projectors. You wear a hat with sensors which tracks your movements around the room. You have to move around the room to control the Proton Blaster on the walls (which is very fun).

Ghostbusters Immersive Box Review

Who doesn’t want to bust some ghosts? The games are a mix of moving around and finding clues so you have to be a little mobile to move from side to side (I recommend wearing comfortable shoes). I think it’s a great experience for kids, but adults can still have fun too (although I preferred the mobile games to the clue games which were maybe aimed at a younger audience). It’s fun watching adults attempt to lurch from side to side to avoid the Stay Puft marshmallow man. I also enjoyed the teamwork game to control a car from side to side which was difficult but fun.

There were six adults playing and it was a bit of a squeeze when all of us played the game, especially when we were only looking at one wall. Four players might be the perfect amount of players. Also, you won’t have much of a break between plays if there’s only 2 players – the games last 60 minutes in total! You can order drinks too, but I’d recommend bringing your own soft drinks as it was £2 a can…

Other games which looked fun are Squad Games and Angry Birds. At £22.99 per person for adults, this is a comparable price to other similar group activities like escape rooms.
