I had seen the Spyscape experience in New York, but we didn’t have enough time to do it so I was happy to see they launched in London this year!
We did the full 2 hour experience (Date ticket) which includes both Spygames and Spyscape. It’s important to note we went in the first week of opening and they were still ironing out some kinks!

Spygames Review
Created with Special Ops and CIA experts, Spygames consists of rooms with various challenges of skill, strategy and agility like throwing balls at targets, dodging lasers and reaching squares on the floor before time runs out.
How physical is Spygames? It was a lot more of an intense workout than I thought it would be . The trailer does have players in gym clothes so that should have been a giveaway I guess… They’re not kidding when they say trainers and comfortable clothing is a must. We were out of breath and sweaty at the end.
You have 50 minutes to play, we didn’t really have much of a break between rooms as we felt a little rushed to make sure we played everything and make use of the time. You can buy more time for a more relaxed experience however.
We managed to play all of the games and play some of our favourites a few times too. You can also choose the level of difficulty and compare your scores to other teams (we never went past the first level, so it can get really challenging if you like!).
I also recommend bringing a drink with you. They didn’t have a vending machine (which they would probably make a killing from). They did have bottles of water out for free which was very much appreciated, but they were room temperature.
Spyscape Review
Created with top MI6 trainers and psychologists, answer brain teasers and tackle authentic spy challenges, and get a detailed profile of your unique skills and potential. There’s also an exhibition where you can learn more about the spy world.
The multimedia exhibition is really interesting and is a good introduction to some of the most well known cases and spies like Alan Turing and the enigma machine to more modern day hacking. There are a handful of interactive challenges like a lie detector test, deciphering codes and CCTV surveillance which were really fun (even though the CCTV surveillance wasn’t 100% working correctly).
Something to note, you need to answer brain teasers to get your score at the end (this wasn’t explained to us so we were confused why we couldn’t get our score). You’ll find QR codes you need to scan next to the toilets under the stairs. You’ll also need your phones to answer the brain teasers so make sure you have your phone with you (we had to go back to the lockers on the top floor to get our phones).
The brain teasers were very fun and challenging and you can read in depth about your spy profile afterwards. I also recommend doing Spyscape before you play Spygames. We did Spygames first and regretted it as we were tired (give us a break, we’re in our mid-thirties) and most of Spyscape is standing and walking around an exhibition for an hour (there are no seats in the exhibition).
Verdict:
Overall, aside from the little issues (which I’m sure they’ll iron out as time goes on) I thought Spygames and Spyscape were worth the price (more so for the former than the latter if you’re not super interested in learning about spies) and is in line with similar experiences like The Cube and the Escape Arcade at Enigma Quests.
