Miracle At Henrietta Hotel Review: Is It Worth Visiting?

It’s mid November – is it too early to start getting into the Christmas spirit?

It turns out no. At no point during my 1 hour and 45 minute stay at Miracle at Hotel did I remember it wasn’t quite Christmas yet. That’s down to every inch of the room being covered in Christmas decorations and every classic Christmas song you can think of playing in the background.

Henrietta Hotel describe the room as “80’s Christmas living room” and I have to say Hotel have done a great job. There’s appearances from worn out Christmas lights, budget foil snowflakes and even a Mr Snowman slushie machine on the huge fake brick fireplace.

The room maybe doesn’t ‘pop’ in real life as it does on Instagram, but it still did a great job putting me in a Christmas spirit.

Drinks and food at the Miracle

As much as I loved the decorations, the drinks were a little underwhelming.

The alcholic drinks menu is wide and varied, but a little too expensive for the amount you receive in small Christmas cups, even by London standards.

The non-alcoholic drinks menu (which you have to ask for) is just two drinks. I’d argue one of them isn’t really Christmas themed enough (a cranberry drink) nor is it worth £10. I had two which was mostly ice, for a total of £20.

There’s also a small snacks menu (again, you have to ask for it), but again this isn’t Christmas themed. Is it ever too early for a mince pie? We did have truffle fries and and whipped avocado and beetroot on toast which was fine.

Getting to Miracle at Henrietta Hotel

Located a stone’s throw from Covent Garden Market, finding Miracle at Henrietta Hotel was a little confusing. I saw two groups go to the wrong building. I would recommend following Google Maps, as there is another Henrietta hotel which is in a separate building but on the same street.
