Paris, like many other popular European cities, isn’t exactly a budget travellers dream by any means. Despite spending €60 a night on a hotel, my hotel was still located in a rather dodgy area complete with dodgy night life and a few steps from a sex shop (I didn’t know this at the time, honest!).

Paris offers free admission to some of its museums and attractions for those under the age of 26.
Isn’t that amazing? It’s almost as if it was fate that I should visit Paris for my 25th birthday.
The list is pretty long too, so you’re bound to find one or ten things you want to visit. The most notable museums and attractions listed are the Louvre, Musée d’Orsay, Musée Picasso Paris, Musée National d’Art Moderne and Arc de Triomphe.
