Sketch Afternoon Tea Review – Is It Worth £65?

Sure, Sketch is an Instagram dream in London. But is the food worth the high price?

I’ve been to a few afternoon teas in London. But there aren’t many in London more talked about than Sketch’s. And it’s easy to see why.

Even the hallway screams ‘quirky’.

And then you enter a pink paradise – The Gallery.

I absolutely love all of the David Shrigley artwork adorning the walls and read every single one.

I was also delighted to find the plateware has David Shrigley’s artwork on it too.

But how good is the afternoon tea? Is it up to the same standard as the interior?

Everything is meticulously presented, as expected. Little touches and decorations set Sketches’ afternoon tea apart from others in London.

That was all before the ‘caviare man’ turned up… A gentleman dressed in a beige suit and hat asks if we would like caviare.

And of course, you haven’t been to Sketch if you don’t take a photo of the pod toilets…

Sketch have recently given the pink room a makeover… It’s now a sunny yellow! What do you think? I’m not sure! But I’m a big fan of David Shrigley. I wonder what they are doing with the old artwork and plateware…
