Verdict: Arcade Food Hall is both centrally located, usually has seating and offers a wide range of cuisine, without having to leave your table. This is the future of food in London. It’s also Centrally located, meaning it’s easy to get to and perfect for making plans before and after near Oxford Street. I personally recommend the Cantonese stall Siu Siu.
I’ve had a glimpse into the future of food halls; and I love it. Initially, I was surprised to see the negative online reviews so I decided to see for myself. I’m adding my two cents into the online cauldron to give another perspective and explain why Arcade Food Hall is my favourite food hall in London.
Why I Love Food Markets And Food Halls (And My Pet Peeve With Them)
To give you some context, I love food markets and food halls. I love the range of choice on offer and being able to satisfy the picky eaters in the group. My favourite places to eat in London are Seven Dials Market, Mercato Mayfair, Mercato Metropolitano Elephant & Castle (R.I.P), Old Spitalfields Market, Southbank Centre Food Market and Camden Market.
One of my problems with food markets and food halls however is the lack of seating or space saving i.e. you get your food first and then I’ll get mine or agreeing on a meeting spot. Arcade Food Hall negates this.
How Arcade Food Hall Works
- You’ll get shown to your table/seat
- You scan the QR code and browse the menu online
- Place your order online (which includes all 11 stalls) and pay for your bill
- The waiting staff will deliver the plates and drinks to your table
- You can always order more food and drinks after your initial order
It’s such a seamless experience, that’s just one of the reasons why it’s one of my favourite places to eat in London. It’s also centrally located near Oxford Street, so it’s an ideal place to eat when I have plans in the area before or after. For example, Arcade Food Hall is just a 6 minute walk to Soho Theatre.
Best Food at Arcade Food Hall
Another reason is the range of food on offer, it’s truly global. From the Middle East to Asia to Mexico, there’s something for everyone. So naturally I had char sui pork and rice followed by a dessert of churros… Here’s a closer look at the vendors on offer:
Siu Siu (Cantonese comfort food)
Bebek Bebek! (Indonesian Hawker Kitchen)
Tipan Tapan (Nepali)
Shatta And Toum (Middle Eastern Shawarma)
Solis (steak grill)
Manna (smash burgers)
Katsu Kamon (Katsu)
Hero (North Indian)
Mexa (Mexican)
Sushi Kamon (sushi)
The drinks menu is also pretty extensive with all your usual favourites, but with a slight twist such as poached pear old fashioned, salted caramel espresso martini, sharing cocktails, shots, beers and wines.

Do I Need To Book At Arcade Food Hall?
I would recommend booking in advance if you’d like table seating just in case as it can get pretty busy, what with being Centrally located and all. However, it’s worth walking in too as they tend to have bar seating at the stalls if you don’t mind this setting (I like seeing the kitchen staff work anyway).
