Korean Cowgirl Review, The Cave Hotel, Faversham: Meat Lover’s Heaven?

The Korean Cowgirl in Canterbury has a 4.4 star rating on Google.

The Korean Cowgirl in Blean has a 1 star rating on Google. It also has a 3 rating on TripAdvisor.

What gives?

How can the two restaurants have such differing scores?

I went to Blean on Saturday night to find out.

As the name might suggest, the Korean Cowgirl fuses Texas BBQ and Korean cuisine. The menu boasts 15 hour cooked beef brisket, burgers and Korean fried chicken.

I chose the Korean Burger (bulgogi glaze and kimchi slaw) with sweet potato fries (£15). It was delicious. The kimchi slaw packing a flavourful punch and crunch.

For dessert, I had the Nutella and Biscoff bao donut. Sugary sweet, Nutella and Biscoff is a dynamite sticky combination that goes well with vanilla ice cream.

The negative reviews mostly centered around rude staff and slow service. Maybe those particular staff members were not serving on Saturday, but I experienced friendly and fast service during our whole time there. The restaurant was fully booked too.

We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Dress code: I would say most diners had shirts and dresses on, though this is was a Saturday night. I felt underdressed in my sweater and jeans!
